- 1 tsp brown sugar
- ½ tsp each: salt, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, paprika
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1½ tsp Worcestershire sauce (halal)
- ¼ tsp each: dried thyme, rosemary
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Season the cubed sirloin tips with salt, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, paprika, and black pepper. Coat evenly with flour.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the seasoned beef in batches until seared on all sides. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté diced onion and minced garlic until soft.
- Pour in beef broth and add the bouillon cube along with Worcestershire sauce. Stir in dried thyme and rosemary; let simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Return the browned sirloin tips to the skillet and simmer together for 20–25 minutes until tender.
- Mix cornstarch with cold water to create a slurry; gradually stir into the gravy until thickened to your liking.
- Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
