Ingredients
- 3 pounds sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small sweet onion, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1 cup unsalted beef broth
- 1 ounce au jus gravy mix
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Season the sirloin pieces with kosher salt and black pepper in a large bowl.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear half of the seasoned steak until browned on all sides, then repeat with remaining steak.
