- 1 lb linguine pasta
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for garnish
- 1/4 cup grated Romano cheese
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp chopped sun-dried tomatoes, oil-packed, drained
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
Instructions
- 1. Cook linguine in salted boiling water according to package instructions; reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
- 2. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning. Sauté in olive oil over medium heat until cooked through (5-7 minutes). Remove and set aside.
- 3. In the same skillet, sauté sliced bell peppers and onion until soft (3-5 minutes), then add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- 4. Pour in chicken broth and simmer briefly.
- 5. In a separate pan, melt butter over low heat, add garlic, then stir in heavy cream and cheeses until smooth.
