- 2 jars maraschino cherries
- 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9"x5" loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, combine sugar, milk, oil, egg, and almond extract.
- In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Drain and chop maraschino cherries; fold into the batter.
- Pour into the loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, melted butter, cherry juice, and almond extract until smooth.
- Once cooled completely, spread the glaze over the bread.
