  • 2 cups heavy cream

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine heavy cream, whole milk, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg. Heat until warm but not boiling.
  3. In the prepared baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes evenly across the bottom and pour half of the warm cream mixture over this layer.
